Seminar Series: Put Your Money Where Your Values Are

Equitable Compensation in Practice

Why do our social change organizations – who work for racial, economic, gender, and environmental justice – reinforce income inequity in their pay scales?

How seriously can we take nonprofits, and their public solidarity statements, if they continue to under-compensate their most marginalized staff members?

What are the real, meaningful options for people who want to be part of organizations that practice equity where it matters: with compensation?

This virtual seminar series is for every nonprofit staff person, human resources professional, consultant, donor, or movement worker who believes that we need organizations to practice their stated values of equity through their compensation – in other words, to put their money where their values are.

Are you ready?

Please note: Our ideal is to develop a more comprehensive sliding scale, using wealth instead of income data. However, because of the general lack of familiarity with wealth assessment and social barriers to wealth discussions, we are using annual income data at this time. If you want to challenge yourself to calculate your wealth, check out this Class Look Up resource.
